We live out in Sandy near Mt. Hood. Out here having year-round lake and river access, hiking, ski lifts, mountain biking, and seasonal snowshoeing is like a dream come true! Not only is home closer to most Pacific Northwest outdoor recreating, but we’re less than an hour drive into downtown Portland which is worth the trade for closer access to our adventurous lifestyle on the mountain.

It’s been a long intentional path every step of the way. My career past in a nutshell - Hospitality, Sales, Media, and Property Management all helped support and prepare for my dream career in Real Estate. My Mom was a Real Estate Agent and my Dad once upon a time was a GC and even built a few homes himself. When I was really little, I thought I’d be an architect, so Dad could build my designs and Mom could sell them.

It’s personal every time. I’m keenly aware of how spaces affect the state of mind. This translates to my way of thinking ‘how do this home and the spaces in it affect the people in it? What do we want the property to do or provide for us? How do we want this place to make us feel? Everything I do in Real Estate is by design with the intention to provide a personalized approachable experience for both my clients, and all professionals that I interact with.

Making great connections with really good people. Oftentimes when I’m working with a client for weeks for months on end, we develop a working friendship. Knowing people from all walks of life, listening to their stories, and making memories are very special to me.

Laughter is key. If my clients and I can get a good chuckle in, or a full blown belly laugh at some point, I know we’ve connected and broken through those first impression jitters. When we laugh, to me it means we’re breathing and enjoying the process despite how serious and thorough the whole endeavor of Real Estate is.

Usually there’s a thank you and great review involved! On a more serious note and beyond the obvious answer, I know I’ve done great by them when they continue to think of me as their go-to Realtor friend. Nothing says ‘You’re awesome’ better than being referred by past clients.

Like many agents, I take pride in both my creativity and professionalism. Beyond providing what clients hope for however, I really enjoy showing up for my people. For instance, I love curating lifestyle goods for Pacific Northwest Interiors, or being a trail angel for the thru-hikers, or an emergency u-haul alternative if plans go awry. I’m all about showing up and doing good however I’m able.

I live for outdoor adventures and being in nature. Trail running, and hiking are my meditation, and paddling any body of water is my ultimate happy place. It’s largely part of why we moved to Sandy after-all!
